This winter (3 Jan 2024) we provided sweaters and caps to 150 students to save them from the cold weather at the primary school in Kakani municipality, Nuwakot district, Nepal.

On that occasion, our Venerable Khenpo Pema Sherpa taught about 5 precepts (Pancha Shila) (abstaining from killing, abstaining from stealing, abstaining from sexual misconduct, abstaining from falsehood, abstaining from taking intoxicants) to make society peaceful and happy.

Also, our Venerable Kunga Lama talked about how really matters for a bright future, as well as being a good person. And advised their parents to care about children and motivate them to study more and more.

We would like to thank the teachers, members, and parents who have attended this event and made it successful.

Also, thanks to those who contributed their priceless time and efforts to make this program fruitful.
