We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to [Donors] for their incredible generosity. Their unwavering commitment to the education and community building shines through in this contribution. We are happy to have successfully distributed more than 270 school supplies including, school bags, winter sweaters, hats, hand gloves and other materials from the beginning of the September this year.
Our prime focus to provide them with winter-wears is to help them avoid the extreme climate challenges they face during winter. Imagine struggling to study in an extremely freezing weather, inside a premise that is not properly equipped to avoid freezing winter weather.

This occasion was particularly fortunate for us as two of our team members Ven. Lama Kunga and Dawa Sherpa, who travelled to Dolpo for the distribution program, got to attend the 67th Shey Festival- which is a celebration of Dolpo’s unique cultural heritage. It provides an opportunity for locals and tourists alike to experience the traditional ceremonies, cultural performances and communal gatherings that define the region. It is believed that in 1220 BS, the Kagyu tribe came to this place and started this festival as a symbol of winning against the evil spirits.
The journey began from Kathmandu, where we gathered everything, that we had to transport to Dolpo by vehicle up to Dunai, and from then on Ngawang- who co-ordinated with our team, managed to transport by Mule to the destination which is Dolpo Buddha Rural Municipality. It took them more than 3 days to reach there, in which they had to foot walk for 2 continuous days in a hazardous trail up to Dho Tarap.
During the distribution programs held in each village school, the ward chairman and other delegates were present as well. Many of these children come from low-income households, and this support will significantly reduce financial stress on their families as well. The children felt very happy while receiving their brand-new school bags filled with essential school supplies, ensuring they start the rest of the year prepared and confident.
So, on behalf of our team- we would like to thank each and everyone who contributed their valuable time and efforts for making these events successful.
It will a lasting impact on the students, their families, and the community as a whole. We look forward to bright future that lies ahead, made possibly by the support of our kind donors and helpers.

We would like to encourage you to donate us on our website. If you would like to see more of these projects reaching out remote areas such as the following one.
